HAZOP Leadership and Scribing

Clwyd Associates has trained and experienced hazard study leaders and scribes – and can provide these services for Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs).

Clwyd Associates has experience of leading hazard studies and HAZOPs for the following activities :-

• An existing agrochemical manufacturing plant involving the use of sodium hydroxide (caustic), monochloroacetic acid, hydrochloric acid and toluene. Stages included reaction and liquid/liquid extraction (COMAH registered) 

• A new admixture manufacturing facility for a building products supplier

• The modification of a hot oil system at a fine chemical manufacturing site

• The relocation of a component degreasing facility involving the use of acetone and dichloromethane
